I got some great ideas for new music out of the last thread....

right now I am listening to (well this week)

Kate Voegele - Don't look away
Kanye West - Graduation
Sara Bareilles - little voice
Mary J. Blige
Leona Lewis
Josh Kelley

any other thoughts on what might be good to listen to...... and what are you listening to this week......

I love country music. Carrie Underwood-Reba-Rodney Atkins-Kenny Chesney and the rest of the popular country artists.

I also like Natasha Beddingfield-Kelly Clarkson-Fergie-Cilion Dijon(sp?)-

And some Christian music as well

Anything that is not really Hard rock the screaming type or maybe its called acid rock

Rascal Flatts. I love their new CD Take Me There.
Keith Urban(I can not wait to see him again next month, I saw him in Utah last year and now he is coming to my state). He is great on his CD's, but live is just incredible. He is an amazing musician.

Oh sorry, I just read the title and thought she was asking what we were listening to at this moment, if she wanted to know what kind of music we listen to then the title should have been, "what kind of music do you like?

Right now, I'm only listening to the sound of a thunderstorm outside.

I've been in a musical rutt lately. Not really interested in listening to anything much. I channel-surf on my way to work. Sometimes I hear stuff I really enjoy, stuff I haven't heard in ages. Today I heard Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil. It was fun to sing along in my best [bad] Aussie accent.

We have on Thee Worst lite radio station at work. I do like some of the songs they play, but it's often sappy or depressing. I feel even sorrier than normal for people bringing their pets to be euthanized, and having to listen to something like "Babe" by Styx. "Babe, I'm leaving... I must be on my way, but somehow try to smile." Ack! Not that there's GOOD music to play for a euth, but... Ack! Just ACK!
