| Re: Chicagoans!! I grew up in Wheaton but I live outside of Boston. I was in Chicago in July. The weather was strangely perfect, in the 70's and sunny. A great weekend in a great city. |

Anyway, I've never been to Chicago but my dad went once. He said it was a pretty awesome city. |

| Re: Chicagoans!! I was in Chicago once and I absolutely loved it. I was only there for a weekend, but I thought it was one of the friendlier big cities I've been in. I've spent considerable time in New York and Boston and I live in Los Angeles. Chicago seemed cleaner and its people more kind than any of these places. |

| Re: Chicagoans!! Try telling people in Boston that Chicagoans are more friendly and they won't believe it. When I took my son there this summer, he could'nt believe how much kindler and gentler it is there. He would like to live there some day. I love living in Boston, but I am glad I was raised in the midwest! Some people here think I'm nuts when I smile and say good morning to strangers!!!! I have been having fun meeting dog people, the dogs seem to break the ice and make it easier to have an excuse to say hello. |

| Re: Chicagoans!! I live about one hour and 45 mins from Chicago in Michigan. Been there once and watched a Bellhop punch out a taxi driver that didn't move for our schools four busses (I was 15 at the time). Besides that, I never have explored the city. I guess I'm a little to scared to try to too. When you come from a city that has only 3 buildings with more then 10 stories, Chicago is a little scary. |

| Re: Chicagoans!! Back in the early 70's my best friend and I would save our babysitting money so we could ride our bikes to Glen Ellen and have lunch at a restaurant named Tiffany's. I would always order the French Dip Au Jus. What good old memories! Go Falcons! I went to Wheaton North. |

| Re: Chicagoans!! It's my home away from home! Even though I live in Michigan, I spent almost every other weekend in Chitown this summer for my BF's wedding. I even had to be a tour guide for a friend from LA and her sil from Miss. I might as well live there I even take the El to get around rather than drive. I spent so much time there the last 3 years (I worked as outside sales for a Lincoln Park boutique) I just told my BF that I refuse to return until '08! |

Its beautiful weather and thats about it. Very very boring, and very poor. I grew up in a one bedroom house with 4 people living in it and my parents made an Avg of $30,000 a year and that is normal around here. So yeah, one day my fiancé and I will move to Upstate NY, but until then we are stuck. |
