You decide that it is starting to get a little bit chilly outside (low 70's) and you resolve the issue by changing out of your tank top into a MUCH warmer t-shirt, and you say to yourself 'I'm glad that it is finally getting cool enough to wear these.

I just thought it was a funny moment

Thats funny... My BF sister just moved back here from Naples fl...She brought her floridian BF back with her..its in the low 70s today and calling it nippy...I about laughed my butt off when I opened this thread.

We have lived in Central Florida for 8 years, before that my husband and I lived in the Keys. The first year we lived here I got up one morning and had frost all over my windshield and I called my mom and woke her up at about 6am because I did not know what to do about it (I had never needed to use the defroster on my car before).

Actually it is getting into the upper 50's tonight so I do have to hang up my girls new jackets so that they can wear them if we are going somewhere in the early am or late pm.

But the animals are all so happy because once it doesn't get to 80 anymore we turn off the AC and leave all the windows and doors opened. In my opinion winter time in central and northern FL is the best weather ever.

, I love it in Missouri, we have icy cold winters, hot humid summers, and fall and spring with warm days and chilly nights. Today it got up to 60* and I thought it was nice out

Lol... I went outside this morning and said "Jeez it's cold out..." which is a little bit odd, since I was born in Ohio and around this time of the year it would be snowing.

Last year we were of course at my MIL's and it was 83 degrees on Christmas day. And I LOVE cool weather but only to about 35-40 degrees, then it get too cold for me

I went to Orlando, FL a couple of years ago and I was miserable the whole time! Well I am from ky so I was not used to the heat. It was always in the 100's and I got some terrible sun burn even though I was always applying sun tan lotion. lol But other than the heat I had a great time. But I always heard the worst time to go was in july and that is when we went.

Haha well maybe not snowing (I'm in Ohio), but there's been thick frost on the ground every morning for the last week...it's gotten as low as 30 degrees at night already

nlkeple- where in the keys did you live, we lived there for 15 yrs, we live in central(ish) FL now.

Window weather!...I'm so excited to have the darn AC off! My son wore jeans to school today...because it was so cold (below 80 that is!)

i'm so jealous! i live in the northwest so it's still warm enough to walk around without a jacket some days, but when I go hiking with the dog i have to wear mittens and a winter jacket (and sometimes longjohns). my min pin has to wear his jacket too hehe.

that's it, i'm moving to florida for the winters!

I lived at MM 105 and just about everyone from the Keys lives in Central FL now!!!

You are so right about the AC I look forward to it all year long!!!
