My Lab mix,Willy, starts to, well you know.... anywho, he starts to do that to my German Shepherd Tyson. And They are BOYS! My lab must think Tyson is a girl. Could this mean my dog likes boy dogs, or does he not know Tyson is a guy? What do I do!?
That's how dogs show dominance over another dog. It's not about love or sex. A friend has a spayed female dog that humps males. She's very bossy.
But if they're not neutered, they could be reacting to the scent of a female in heat. And if they're not neutered, please get them altered. It could stop or greatly diminish this behavior, as well as others and is better for their health.
