Question RAW training treats????

What kind of training treat can I use that is in-line with RAW feeding? I've been using cow lung, but it's cooked. If anyone knows of something that isn't too expensive or knows how to make your own could you please share? Pleeeaaasee

Re: RAW training treats????

I've been using dehydrated liver chunks and dehydrated sliced chicken breast meat.

If you don't have a dehydrator you can do it in the oven set at ~200 degrees until dried out, and then turn off and leave the tray in the oven until the next morning. You can find oven dehydrating instructions by doing an Internet search.

Chicken liver is real cheap and you can find this in your grocery store, probably by the chicken feet - yum! Bake it and it makes a nice training treat.

Ooh, good. I wasn't sure if oven dehydrating would be "too cooked", but will try it. Thanks

I get dehydrated beef tripe through Solid Gold's website. I also succumbed to Wellness's rewards which are venison and salmon treats, venison, lamb, etc.
