Back to Basics (Beowulf) declared bankruptcy in fall 09. They were taken over by Dad's Pet Food who was looking to purchase a high-end food company to expand into the high-end market. Back to Basics- last I knew- is still being manufactured by the same companies that were producing their food- CJ's for their dry, and Evangers for their canned. I was told that they were not planning on changing manufacturers. I JUST saw Dad's just brought a manufacturing company- ARKAT. I've never heard of them, and don't know if this will affect the manufacturing of Back to Basics. |
