Re: Pet Food Recall- Any affected

HI PAUL,
yes, as a matter of a fact, my dogs were affected. Our pitbull has liver and kidney damage and the vet can not do anything for him. He will not live much longer. Our German sheperd Bearla has some high levels in her kidney and liver function blood tests but the vet is expecting her to be okay because she was not eating it as long as the pit was. She has been on hills science diet due to issues with her stomach and the doctor at the vet hospital said that is what saved her. I am part of the class action law suit here in canada

I am sooo sorry for everyone effected. Tonight the news said that Hill's (science diet, prescription diet) was recalling its FELINE DRY food Prescription M/D because the wheat gluten in that product could be tainted. Please, everyone, check your dog and cat food and if there is wheat gluten in it, even if the food has not been officially recalled, look into another food that does not contain wheat gluten---wet or dry food.
