| What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? I'm looking to find healthy treats for our dogs. Something that may help keep their teeth clean and tasty. What's your dogs favorite? Do you buy them or make them yourself? Is it a people food or made for dogs? |

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? My dogs faves are Trachea's, venison necks, and frozen marrow bones! For just everyday treats they love the Old Mother Hubbard cookies, I buy the puppy size as I limit stuff like that.... Also "The Loved Dog" treats they can be found in the pet food isle at the grocery store in the little fridge. http://www.freshpet.com/theloveddogt...ct-details.htm |

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? We have a new flavor coming out - so it is not on our website yet, but it is available. Our SunnyPaw "VEGI-BONES" are crunchy & bone-shaped; here is the complete ingredient list: organic yams, organic spinach, organic unsweetened applesauce, organic cranberries and organic buckwheat. These are GRAIN-FREE, as buckwheat is a not a grain of course, but a fruit seed related to sorrel and rhubarb. Our "taste-testers" LOVE them, and they are naturally delicious!
If anyone is interested, we will send out a FREE SAMPLE to the first ten people that PM me. |

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? Nanuq loves dehydrated sweet potatoes. I bought her some but they are a bit pricey. I am going to borrow a dehydrator and try making some myself. Hopefully she will like the homemade ones as much as the store bought. |

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? I bought a dehydrator and make sweet potatoe treats, dried chicken and dried bison jerkies for my 3 buddies. They dig up carrots from the garden. They also love fresh & dried apples & apricots from my orchard. Using a dehydrator is really easy & saves time & $! For teeth-- raw bones. |

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? We found some treats that we really liked for our dogs. We bought with the smaller hard bones they had. There are so many cookies to look at but these seemed reasonably priced compared to a lot of other cookies on the web. Of course store bought is good except for the preservatives in them. http://www.dancingdogcookies.com |

Approximately how long in the microwave? On high? That's a good idea!
Would beef liver be just as good? Quote:

HMMM - would you put any "spices" or just plain? I could do that - I have a dehydrator I hardly use! Quote:

| Re: What's your dog's favorite healthy treat? If you pop it yourself, either with an air popper or on the stove, plain popcorn is very healthy. Of course, you wouldn't want to give it to a dog with a corn allergy. And it won't do anything for teeth cleaning. |

And I taught them how to catch food out of the air with the popcorn. It's a fun palor trick. |
