Rashy bulldog

My french bulldog has experienced skin issues from around the time she turned six months in February until now. After trying everything I finally got her allergy tested and it turns out she's allergic to barley and sweet potato. The issue is that I want to feed her a food that is grain-free and one that provides her with an adequate amount of protein in the form of red meat. With her allergy to potato however, this limits much of what I can do. Does anyone know of any food that contains an exotic red meat (she has problem with lamb and beef as well), has a decent protein content, and is grain and potato free? I would feed her a raw diet but I'm in grad school and just don't have the time right now, although when things settle down I may start. But in the interim I could definitely use some help. Thanks

That really do limit your choices. Instinct foods are potato and barley free. But is not red meat. But they do have different flavors - Rabbit - Chicken - Duck and Turkey. It is also a high protein diet but not red meat. But in your case it may work.

Sweet potato or potatoes? That's a huge difference. If she's allergic to sweet potato then most grain free foods will be fine for her. If she's allergic to potatoes, then your choices are limited.

Re: Rashy bulldog

Have you considered making a homemade diet for her?
