Does anyone use a dehydrator to make treats?

I've been thinking about buying one. How long does the food last after it's been deydrated? And what kind of foods do you use? Any suggestions as far as brand?

I use one for freash liver I'll look at brand when I get home.

Definitely EXCALIBUR. You will find cheaper brands on the market, but this is my suggestion. Works reliably and wonderfully, 9-tray fits ALOT - - and one model offers a timer and auto-shutoff If you do get it - -a good investment is also the stainless steel trays. The plastic trays are great and lightweight, but must be hand-washed - -the stainless steel can be disinfected in dishwasher.
