I'm going to get something new

I am going to get one of the foods that scored A on those list in another post. I assume that I should start by adding a small amount to food now eaten and then gradually increase until all the new food???

Also, please don't think me an absolute idiot but...under the "treat thread" pigs ears were mentioned alot. Are these real pig ears, like from a real pig???

And... last question..are vegatables like carrots good for the dog? I want to see if my dog will eat them. I have been using "pup corn"for training treats simply because the were something for him to chew without adding too many calories but they have no real nutritional value.

You can get real pig ears or imitation pig ears.

Red face healthy treat

You may be grossed out by this, but we found in our feed store a healthier treat for our pup that pig's ears or rawhide. Pig's ears are high fat and go down very quickly. We found a part of a bull's anatomy that is stretched. You cut it into good size peices and it lasts and lasts. It is healthy for your pet and very low fat. It is the bull's penis. I kid you NOT!
