This may sound like a stupid question but what kind of hot dogs? I'm a vegetarian but I wanted to buy some hot dogs for my dog but I don't know what to buy. I honestly don't even know where they're located in the store.

Re: Treats!

Most of the time it is those training T's. Sometimes it's other things like a small piece of begging strip. Whatever treat it is though she can't just have it given to her. They are placed on the floor and she only is allowed to eat them when I say she can and only the one that I point to.

I only buy Hebrew National hot dogs, because I'm going to eat a few of them and at least I know they don't have weird by-products in them.

Re: Treats!

Well I give my Lexi mild cheese and those Pet Botanics Training Rewards: chicken flavor. I was wanting to just buy chicken at the grocery store but I'm unsure of how to cook it. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to how to cook it? I also was thinking about buying other types of meats to cook up but if you can also give me suggestions as to what else would be good. Thanks all.

Re: Treats!

If you're going to give cooked chicken, just boil it, no seasoning or anything, I guess the same goes for the other types of meat. I give my dog raw pieces of steak for a treat, he loves it!! He also really likes lamb and chicken and turkey are the main meats in his diet.
