| Hmm, well as mentioned above by [most?] posts - PETA isn't exactly the first place that I would go for accounted information. In reality there really is no such thing as a dog food that hasn't been tested on animals, because otherwise there would be no FDA approval, but I do agree in that some of the techniques that some companies use is rather brutal. In anycase, I've tried to stick to lesser (and I say "lesser" only in that they are not major branches of even larger corporate titans) companies. I feed my dogs half raw and half Solid Gold Barking at the Moon - and they couldn't be looking more beautiful. My youngest Toller pup suffered food allergies for the first few weeks that we had him, and after settling into the raw/barking diet - he has truely flourished. |
