Candea dog food and Knox Gelatine

Has anyone tried this brand of dog food? It has no salt; all natural with real meat, vegetables and herbs. Two of my dogs are on heart and fluid pills. It is really keeping their fluid in check. There is no corn or buy products in it. Our dogs no longer throw up or shed. They also make it for cats. I use the canned to put their pills in and feed them the small kibble. I can not believe the difference in my dogs.

Has anyone heard of giving 1 teaspoon of know gelatine once a day for arthridis.

If you are referring to Canidae food, their is a version that comes with glucosamine and chondroitin in the food already. My experience has been that even if there is some in the food it is probably not enough to make a difference. Check with your vet to find out the correct dose for your dog. Both products (usually found together in pills) have a long and proven track record of helping with joint issues.

I have fed Canidae in the past. It's a great food but it's not available in my area anymore. I guess no one had heard of it and it's just easier to feed grocery store foods . I now feed Innova and use a glucosimine/condroitin joint supplement called Nupro. It has probiotic enzymes for the gut as well. Energy, performance, coat and skin have all been improved by the supplement. My Brandi has always been on a very good kibble or on my own home cooked foods..

I am feeding Canidae to my puppies, as we speak. I am excited to see how well they will do on this food.

I have been feeding Canidae for quite some time and I raised our last litter of puppies on this food.

I am very happy with the results :-D Plus I love the price of it compared to other brands with comperable ingredients!
