Where do you buy the meat and how much do you pay for it? I've been getting Tuz some cuts of meat from the butcher, but Im afraid that I might be over paying

I shop sales at regular grocery stores, as well as get "scrap" meat from butchers (many wont give it out, but there are some who do... just have to ask around)
When I first started the raw thing, I was way too excited about it and started feeding right away. I had to take a step back and hold off 2 weeks to stock up... keeps it cheaper that way.
If you only are shopping amazing sales it cuts the cost drastically

Yeah, some butchers looked at me like an idiot and then figured I was desperate or something because they began charging a lot for scraps

A few around here have tried to charge me for it too, but no thanks... not that I would have a problem paying for it, but hey if i can get it free somewhere else, why not right!
But watching for $1 /lb sales (or less) and freezing for a little bit before heading into raw 100% (if thats your eventual goal) is a great way to get started.

I keep an extra freezer for Rhea's food. A little extra cost for the freezer (mine was about $250) but being able to buy in bulk makes things a lot cheaper. I buy about 160 lbs at a time and it lasts for 5-6 months. I get it from a butcher in Castle Rock (bout an hour and a half from me) and he charges me about $100 for 160 lbs (chicken, beef, duck, pork, nice variety). So I end up spending a little over $200 a year for Rhea's food and she gets a little over a pound a day. A lot cheaper than dog food for me, but a lot of people don't have the convience of being able to buy in bulk so cheap. Before I got the freezer I did the grocery store deal.

i am in the uk i get what i need from the super market but i also bye from a farm shop which give me as many pork bones as i want bu tedy dosnt like them lol, i also bye meet when its on offer as well

I get mine a local co-ops here. I pay thirty-three cents a pound for my chicken. I pay right around the same for my beef. I get forty pound boxes. The deer meat is free when it is in season.
