Are cooked bones bad for a puppy?

I've read several times that raw bones are great, but what about left over bones from our Church's dinner. Are they harmful to puppies?

Yes, cooked bones are very harmful. During cooking, they become spindly and porous and can be lodged in the intestines and esophogus of the pup.

Back in my pups garbage eating days she did eat a few cooked bones, she had a horrible tummy ache and puked for a day straight but turned out alright. We were lucky.

Raw or smoked bones are fine, as mentioned above cooked bones can cause a lot of damage even be fatal.

Thumbs down

Cooked bones are bad for a variety of reasons. One that really scared me is that once swallowed, they could splinter inside of the puppy and puncture a major organ, which can be nothing but bad
