Wink Doggie icing...i havea a question bout it

I have heard about this and it seems great really....mm bananas .. But I was wondering... if I wanted to make it different colors (like pink for V-day) would i add food coloring like the humans do? Is it safe for them? IF not please do post other ways I can make it colored...

Thanks alot

I would say a few drops would be fine. I wouldnt add it to every meal by any means, but for a special treat it shouldnt hurt.

You could also use natural coloring from vegetables/fruit. Like a few drops of beet juice would die things pink/red. Pumpkin could do orange. Fresh Spinach green etc.

OH great sweet! Yeah I think Instead of buying food coloring I will ust use the beet juice.. We(humans) eat them alot so I will definatly have the juice! PLus it is probably more healthy .
Thanks a bundle!!

word of caution, watch anything made with things like bananas, they spoil quickly! the recipe i had made for dog muffins that are like a banana bread kind of a thing had to be adjusted many many times because the bananas caused them to spoil rapidly
