I don't go by that dogfoodanalysis website. I go by the actual ingredients and how my dogs do on them. I much prefer the Dog Food Project website as it is run by a certified nutritionist. Here is a good read from her about those "5 Star" websites:
Common Fallacies of Dog Food Reviews

So I still will not feed Canidae anymore... it has crappy ingredients now, despite its rating on those websites.

Can I ask why you say it has crappy ingredients now? Not debating you, just asking your opinion as I feed Canidae and saw the formula change...but am not clear on why it's subpar to what is was before.

Re: Canidae.. feeling a little ripped off...

I apologize for the "crappy" remark. The whole thing just upsets me, because Canidae was what I was feeding. That said, the quality of the ingredients has still gone down.

They added in more grains, unspecified fish meal instead of herring meal, egg product instead of whole eggs... while it's still better than most things out there, it's no longer worth the money, because they raised the price and give you less now, and I don't like that they sold out to someone else.

I might as well feed Kirkland, since it's now the same quality as Canidae, for literally HALF the price. When I have more money, I'll probably switch to something better, like California Natural or Nature's Varietywhich I think are both more worth the money now than Canidae.

Thanks for explaining. i was trying to figure out what they changed specifically to see if I should go ahead and switch them again. I made the mistake of not doing a gradual switch to the new formula. I'll need to go see how their poop is today Roe gets California Natural...perhaps I should just switch them all to that. Or, I'm gonna go raw
