| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? Heh, that's old news there. Celebrity pet food products are all the rage. I only wish I could speculate in that market. |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? "Some" of the proceeds go to animal charities like shelters which is good. So, people will get caught up in that and the celebrity aspect, and not actually read the ingredients. I mean she is a Chef...her food must be good right? NOT. Stay far away from this food.

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? Oh darn...I was going to run right out and buy some! I'd give them Old Roy if I had to buy this and it would cost a whole heck of a long less!
I'm still learning about dog foods (I usually fed Purina...something, whatever). And then mine LOVED Kibbles & Bits (I know...not good ). Got them Nutro but then that has been killing dogs. I stand in the dog food section at PetsMart and have the "HUH?" look (which I perfected when doing bankruptcy work). So many to choose from! |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? I saw this food at walmart last night. At least its better than the ol'roy that everyone had piled in their carts.
Its getting harder and harder for me to go to walmart. 1 out of 2 carts always has meow mix or pedigree in it. Ussually ALOT, which always makes me cringe because you just know they have ALOT of animals or are breeding.
I was at walmart buying dog food too....except it was chicken |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? I'm one of the people with a jumbo bag of Meow Mix in the cart. But I buy it for the stray/feral neighborhood cats. I can't afford to feed the whole 'hood Chicken Soup. |

I'd bet money tho that these people aren't feeding strays
do you/did you ever do trap, neuter, release? How do you find a vet that will do it cheap? I want to start on the cats here, i just moved to this area about a year ago. |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? I would love to start or have a TNR around here. As much as my vet/boss is a great vet, I don't think he'd have any interest in being involved. Our local SPCA just euthanizes ferals.
Three of my four were ferals, so I know that some can be normal (for a cat ) pets, but there's not a lot of support for ferals around here. |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? RR probalby doesn't feed her dog her food. I hate it when celebs do this, endorse a product for the sake of endorsing a product. Maybe some dogs may be able to tolerate it but I wouldn't buy simply for the fact that she's a celebrity endorsing a product for the sake of it. |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? I think it would be neat if they did a segment on her show about dog food. What is good and what is bad and they called her out about the ingrediants in her food that she endorses. But, we all know that will never happen since it will just make her look bad. Oh well, we can always hope! It would be funny though! |

That would include the Dog Whisperer, RR, **** Van Patten (who I understand has a good dog food that he is affliated with), etc. It would make great TV!!!! |

| Re: Rachel Ray has a dog food!? I went to the link...unbelievable. And people will buy it and make him a rich man. My dogs get tap water unless I add cold water (which is run through a Pure water filter). Guess I don't love my dogs enough to buy them "special" water.
If you go to the link and scroll down, there is a link to all of "his" products sold on Amazon.com. |

So either ask your vet or ask around, many do believe in TNR.
Good Luck! Quote:

I feed it to my ferals and raccoons or whatever little animal passes through the area. BTW my ferals are in their teens and doing quite well on MM.
