Any opinions on Blue dog food?

Hi,
My one daughter and I took our newest addition, Delilah, to PetSmart yesterday...to make an appointment to get her nails trimmed. Well, we ran into a lady who was representing Blue dog food...and she went through everything with me.
Does anyone use Blue?
What are your opinions on it?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Any opinions on Blue dog food?

My favorite dog food, well , almost.

I switch between that, Canidae, Timberwolf and California Natural.

For some reason, my dogs seem to favor the BB. I tried the Wilderness, but they really like the regular...

Three of them will choose that over the other brands if given a choice.

It smells fresher than most dog foods and is a small kibble, which I like.

All in all, I rate it a 10.

My golden retriever got the runs from eating Blue....it just doesn't agree with him

It's too bad cause I actually had high hopes when I switched him to blue....it has many great ingredients.

Re: Any opinions on Blue dog food?

Thanks for the input!
I hope to see a difference w/ Delilah...she has no muscle mass and is so underweight, the lady had me get the puppy food for her. She loves it. She was on Beneful, and she's been happy w/ the Blue so far.
I really don't need Riley or Spike on the puppy formula, but they tend to get a few bites in anyway and seem to like it.
Mastiffs and Faith are all on the petsmart brand...we tried everything else and they had the runs and bad upset tummies...
I have gone back and forth about the raw diet, but Calista gets very protective of chicken...she's even taken it off the counter from the pan...fresh out of the oven and ran into her crate w/ it when she was a pup...oh, that girl!lol

Re: Any opinions on Blue dog food?

Blue Buffalo, I assume. I thought it was only a Petsmart brand, but I guess some independent dealers carry it, too. But I've only seen it at Petsmart. I've fed it to my dogs a few times, and they did well on it....but it costs more than other brands of similar quality, so I only buy it when it's on sale AND I have a coupon.

I feed my dog the Blue Buffalo large breed puppy. I also add a small scoop of canned food (currently Wellness puppy). She's doing great on it.

Now if only she'd stop eating everything else she finds laying around .

When this bag is finished, my vet wants me to switch her to adult food.
