Hello,
We have a 3 year old German Shephered/ Rott mix and a 7 month old chocolate lab. But this is about Chance the Shephered mix. He use to vomit often till we changed his food and put him on perscription w/d dog food. He has been doing great then last night I noticed the ususall signs of him getting sick. He is eating a lot of grass. So I went to bed and when I woke up this morning He had thrown up quiet a bit. There was grass, Bile and splinters of stick. Now the stick is odd to me because they know they can't chew on sticks. I gave him some plain yogurt this morning. I am wondering if there is anything else that I should be feeding him daily to help calm his stomach and stop him from eating so much grass. Any help would be great. Also if you can think of any veggies I can give them both that are packed with all the stuff they need.

Dogs can have almost any vegatbles and fruits (and they should have them) they cannot have garlic(large amounts) and onions.Dogs do naturally eat grasses sometimes eating vegatables helps.

I have a question was your dog checked for an elonged soft palate or megaesphagus..these can both cause vomiting in dogs

Canned pumpkin is supposed to be good for an upset stomach, though I've never tried it on my own dogs.
