| Logan on Wolf king First time since 1984, but Logan doesnt want raw. Never met a dog that would snub raw, but I him.. lol.. Anyway- with a good petstore closing up, the only good food I could find was wolf king. The breeder to feed both raw and kibble, but for some reason, he wont eat the raw.. So- I hope I made the right decission here.. We shall see... |

| Re: Logan on Wolf king Have you tried say...giving him a rib bone with some meat on it? I'm just brainstorming that if you give him something of high value (rib bone) he may gnaw the meat off to have the bone. Just a thought. |

| Re: Logan on Wolf king Thank you britday- I have been trying to think of things as well..
I am boiling a chicken thigh for chicken broth. I am going to add some of that. That usually helps in the past..

| Re: Logan on Wolf king I tried WolfKing for my dogs once. Is it lower in fat? My dogs seemed to have dry skin while on it. But otherwise they did fine. And some dogs need lower fat, so it might work out just right. |

| Re: Logan on Wolf king I tried adding a little fresh made chicken broth on the kibble. That seemed to help alittle. I am also going to increase his exercise to day to see if that helps him feel more hungry. We take a long walk every day ( 2 miles). Maybe we can add a shorter one in the afternoon. Everything else is normal- ( bowel movements etc). He isnt acting totally settled yet enough to risk turning him loose to run in the fence. Any dog, if determined enough, could jump it.. |

| Re: Logan on Wolf king Borzoimom:
I have fed Wolf King in the past to my 2 young adult Jindos.
They needed a diet lower in fat for fear of an HGE relapse.
It IS a good food.
Will it be right for Logan? Really couldn't tell you as I know nothing about the breeds general requirements.
Here you go!

| Re: Logan on Wolf king Yea I liked the ingredients. Normally I would add like canned mackarel to raise the Omega 3 and 6. Right now my concern is just getting him to eat. Everything else is normal. ( activity, not stressed, gets along with everyone, and urinating fine. ) Only having a bowel movement once a day, but the vet thinks that this is because he isnt eating much, and this is just still settling in. He says as long as he is eating something, it will come around.. ( easy for him to say huh? ) |
