Food for Dashshund puppy?

What would be the best dry food for a Dachshund puppy?

Does kibble size matter??
I know that they can have weight issues is there a better food for that?
What treats are good for them or does it matter?

Price isn't really a issue just not $100 a bag

Also how much can they eat in a month??

Sorry haven't had a small dog since I was really small. So I need a little help.

Re: Food for Dashshund puppy?

I know my two will eat anything that smells good to them. Though they are feed a raw diet they were once feed a kibble diet before I changed them over to raw and the kibble I had them on was chicken soup for the dog lover's soul.

As for treats they don't get much of treats, but when they do its either a raw bone, moo tube, bully stick or chicken fillet. I sometimes will make homemade treats. I stay away from the other treats that are out there.

I cannot remember the size of the bags I got, but it was either 6 or 8 lb. and it last for a while.
