Question Needing Dog Food Help For Dog With Special Needs

Hi-

I have a 10 year old beagle girl who is very hard to feed. While she loves anything, she just can't eat it! She has a history of bladder problems and needs a lower urine PH level. She's allergic to Chicken, Turkey, and lamb (so far). She was eating Solid Gold Holistique Blendz for about 2.5 years until a few months ago. I bought a new bag and she just kept throwing up, constantly. I stopped feeding it to her, assuming she was now allergic to fish. I got her Natural Balance Vegetarian food and while she was doing well, aside from gaining some weight, her PH level went up. I now need to find her something else with a lower PH level. I have emailed every company that I can think of and so far I haven't gotten too many responses in regards to PH levels. So far the only two that got back to me without her meat allergies have eggs. I am not sure if she would be allergic to the eggs or not. Does anyone have experience with so many allegries wand PH issues? I am thinking that I am going to have to start making her food homemade. Thanks!

Are you sure its allergies? Testing for allergies is quite intense and costly.
Studies have shown us that 80% of us believe our pets have allergies, when actually, your Vet will tell you, its more like 20%.

With ph levels changing from low to high, you might want to look at renial health and or associated organs.

I learned of Lilly's food allergies recently and when on a combination of hypoallergenic dog kibble from the vet and homemade concoctions. I too though want to question how you know she is allergic to everything you mention as the only symptom you noted was throwing up. I did not think that was a symptom for allergies?
