Talking Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover food

What do you think of the ingrediants and the analysis? Looks pretty good to me but then I don't know that much about dog food.

Iv'e been feeding it for a while now and all my dogs are doing great on it. I mix it with Purina one. My dogs have allways been on purina one and then i started reading up on dog food and not that i'm not happy with purina one, i just thought i would mix it with a little bit better dog food.

I feed Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul to my two senior dogs and I love it. They love it as well, and they are so much healthier because of it. They also only need to eat around three cups a day each instead of four.

Usually, if a dog food has more nutrition in it, a dog won't have to eat as much to get what they need. So...in a way it's more expensive, but since they eat less and it lasts longer, I feel that it balances out.

I've heard great things about Chicken Soup.....

I used to feed chicken soup and I like the ingredients. My dogs got too fat off of it and that dwas prbably because of my portions but I do like it so go for it if you want to use.

Hi:
I just started feeding my GSD this "soul" food...he loves it and the ingredients do look good. Yes, it costs alittle more, but I mix it with other things and it goes a long way. I had given him Iams...and it really did not agree with him. It even made him smell.....

I decided to go with Innova...the little bites for our toy poodle. I was really surprised when she really went for it. I mixed it with her old food and she picked through it and only at the Innova. And...come to find out, she prefers it dry and not wet. I have to tell you, you learn something new everyday with a poodle!!

Most pet stores, and many feed (farm) stores carry Chicken Soup. Petsmart does NOT carry Chicken Soup, but many other pet stores do

This stuff seems to get good reviews. Would it be appropriate for an 8 1/2 year old Bichon w/ allergies and a prior history of kidney stones/urinary tract infections? He's currently on Royal Canin Urinary SO. I'm pondering switching his food.

My dogs have been eating the Senior chicken soup food for awhile and are doing great on it. You have to get it at an indy pet food store, the big box stores like Petsmart don't carry it. My dogs both had uti's which is one reason I wanted to switch to a more holistic food, although they were eating premium food before it did not agree with them. The chicken soup food contains cranberries which I read is good for dogs with uti's, they have not had any problems since they switched.
