Try her on chicken wings or even just the wing tips. They are smaller. Papillon's are pretty small so I would just give her one to start and see how she does. If she eats it try another. I have also seen people grind up the bone in a food processor. This way they still get the nutrition but don't have to chew so hard. You may try that also.

Raw...con't from raw feeding sticky

We want to keep the raw feeding sticky to a list of websites so I am going to move some of the other posts to this thread...

I don't have a small dog...we have a 40lb lab mix and a 65 lb aussie mix...but the lab is not really a chewer. We were feeding turkey necks and she would do ok with chewing those, at the end though she would gulp it and sometimes needed to throw it up and rechew it a bit.

When we switched to chicken backs, I started splitting them into 2 or 3 pieces and that seems to work ok.

You may want to try chicken necks. They are pretty small. Or like someone else (I forget who at the moment) said, you can kind of crush the bones a bit or cut them up into smaller pieces.
