| Re: Question about Dog foods... Raw feeding is not as difficult as everyone thinks (I thought it was too). Nature's variety prairie makes raw patties and medallions with everything you need in it, 95% meat, ground bone, organ meat, flaxseed, blueberries, etc are the other 5%. I bought a small freezer and stuck it in the basement. I take out the food the night before and let it thaw in the fridge and give it to him the next day, it really couldn't be more simple. Plus I get to rotate beef, venison, rabbit, lamb, organic chicken and chicken/turkey. Yes, it is costly but if I am paying 2.00 more a day for feeding him like someone said, skip the Starbucks!!! I wouldn't feed my children subpar food and in the same vein, neither would I feed my dog a low quality food which could have future consequences. |
