Since plain organic yogurt is so cheap I see no reason to go through the trouble to make your own. I get a quart container for around $2.50.
Feeding raw is easy. To get started just pick up some whole chickens, cut them in quarters and give a quarter section to your dog as a meal. (It looks like you have a large breed dog, 2-3% of body weight per day is a normal place to start feeding) Also, try to find meat that hasn't been "enhanced." Read the label and if they've added anything besides water, keep looking.
If you are going to continue with raw feeding after a trial, then you need to do your research. There are a lot of good posts in the food section with links to Internet resources. Take the time to educate yourself. |
