Re: hair cuts

Why would you want to shave a lab? They have short coats anyways.

Re: hair cuts

Do people shave labs - yes

SHOULD they shave labs - no course not, first time I ever heard someone say they had been asked to do that I didnt believe it - but apparently people do do it. I have never been asked and if I was, I would refuse and politely ask they find another groomer. I do not believe in it and that is the same reason I wont clip goldies collies etc etc.

no never try a furminator weekly a dramtic change in shedding will occur,..shaving a lab does not stop shedding, hair is just shorter,..and therfore harder to notice,...furminators can be found on line by just typing furminator in a seasrch.

Re: hair cuts

diva and tina- i am so glad to have finally found people who agree with me on this. i know and have talked to so many that know it isnt good for a dog like that to be shaved, but will still do it b/c it is what the owner wants
