I gave Stella a haircut!!!! Yay Me! yay Stella!!!!!

In an effort to save $50 every 6 weeks....I bought a Wahl clipper kit....took some advice for lots of helpful dog Mama's and Papa's and watched this woman's video

I promised her a trip to the dog park....will post photos later!!!!!!

Re: I did it!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh! She looks great! Good job! Every time you do it now it will get easier and easier to make it look just right. The first few times I did my girls I was ok with their hair cuts.. but I always saw things i could fix and improve for next time.. Now I think I've got it down pretty well how I like them. I don't usually see too many things I want to fix anymore. Anyway Great job on Stella!

Re: I did it!!!!!!!

Holy Smokes.....Saturday Stella got into the sticky, prickly bush at the dog park.....I had to give her a quick haircut and bath when we got home.

http://stellalind.wordpress.com/2009...dle-got-stuck/

Today....she got into the bush again. I spent an hour brushing/clipping/shaving her to get the burrs out of her coat. At this rate...she'll be bald in a week.

I don't think we'll go to the dogpark tomorrow.

Ooh noo! She still looks great though! Zoey got a few of those stuck in her fur once.. not NEARLY as many as Stella got though! I hate those bushes!

At this rate....she's going to be bald by Saturday.
