She was a sweet little girl, I wanted to bring her home so she wouldn't have to go become flea infested again and get all matted She had a rock the size of my pinkie nail matted inbetween her pads on her foot, now I know pinkie nails aren't big, but her entire foot was about the size of two of my finger tips. | |

Don't you hate grooms like that? Breaks my heart. And you try to educate the owners, and 9 times of 10, you see the dog again next year, in the same condition or worse. Here are some similar ones I have done this summer. | |

Poor little Poodle. I've had a few fosters who were matted to felt. Broke my heart. I learned to wet shave, so have been able to spare them being skinned. Was surprised that I actually got a #5F blade under badly matted hair, and that the hair was longer once dry when shaved wet (than it would have been had I clipped a dry coat). The (wonderful) professional groomer who volunteers was dead certain she'd have to use a #10F blade, so it was neat that I taught her a new trick! LOL She was also sure I was going to electracute the dog and myself! LOL | |
