My Lhasa just got groomed and the groomer took alot .....Alot!!!! of fur off. Will it still grow back?

Absolutely! It may take a while for it to grow back to what you like, but yes, it will grow back. Believe me, I feel your pain. Elsa's last grooming experience was not very pleasing for me. My normal groomer friend was not available and the new groomer I guess forgot to read her card which states "DO NOT CUT OFF HER BEARD". Well, they did, and although she doesn't look horrible, it was disappointing enough for me to consider grooming her myself...but I'm not sure if I have the courage yet. Welcome to our forum!

Yes, if she's fed a good quality food and is healthy it will grow back quickly. If you live in a colder area, be sure to put on a doggy coat if its that short - she's probably used to more fur.

It would be like taking someone from Florida that is wearing a bathing suit and instantly putting them in the middle of Alaska with no fur coat
