Looking for groomer in Grand Rapids, MI

I'm looking for a groomer in Grand Rapids, MI who can help with the tangled mess of my golden retrievers hind legs. She loves to swim and it's time to clean her up a bit.

Also, she hates to be brushed and is terrified of dryers, so I'll need someone who is very patient with her.

I personally love goldens, beautiful dogs! I'd suggest check with a vet in your area- some have groomers on site, check local newspaper some advertise in the classifieds, ask neighbours/friends who have dogs to see who they go to or just ask around by word of mouth hopfully you find someone. Unless you want to find a book on the breed. Get someone your dog trusts to help hold the dog (after she's been excercised) then attempt it yourself with a med - hard slicker brush and if needed with a steady hand cut out mats. practicing regular brushing and handling will hopefully get her used it. Wish I could help but I'm from Alberta Canada. Good Luck and Have fun!
