Talking CUTEST thing!

Hey guys,
I just found the CUTEST thing!

I stumbled onto this website
http://www.bocadogmagazine.com/

The have the cutest story about "making over" a rescue golden retriever up for adoption.

Check it out. I am going to subscribe to the mag. That's how cute it was!
I am a softie for goldens...

Re: CUTEST thing!

That was a pretty cool article. I think it's a great idea. There are a lot of dogs in shelters that could use a little grooming TLC and it would make them more adoptable and just give them some care. I understand that it's too expensive for the shelters to fund this, but if I ever learn how to groom dogs then I would certainly volunteer at shelters.

I work with the spcaLA and we have a grooming group that heads to each of our shelter locations once a month to spruce up all the inmates. Most of us just do a basic wash/dry/brush, but every once in a while a groomer pops up to do trims and blow dries and toenails. Good stuff!

Oh that is so nice! That sounds like a lot of fun. I guess I just don't know enough about all the shelters around here to know what goes on. I do know the shelter where I got Max has washing facilities and lots of donated brushes. Anyway, very cool!
