Re: want to purchase dryer

Are you looing for forced air dryer like they use at the dog shows or just a regular hair dryer to use. I like to use the Conair dryer with the vents on the sides for finish work. Because I can put it the top of my grooming apron or under the waist string. If you get the kind with the vent on the back of the dryer, putting in the apron can cause it to over heat and then it shuts off. I just hate it when I am rushing to get dog ready for the ring, and the dryer shuts off. Even worse when we throw a breaker at the show site. EKKKKK

I use the Metro Air Force Commander. Stupid name but it does work well. I think it might actually blast your little dogs off the table though. I usually set it on low for my big dogs. It sure cuts down the grooming time and also cuts down of the hair in the house as it blasts the loose hair right off of them.

My forced air dryer is the Double K ChallengeAir Airmax 2 speed. I want a box dryer with the adjustable nob, so you have a bigger range of settings, not just high and low. You have everything in between. But they are around $400.oo. Dream big!!!!
