Question Preferred shampoo for my puppy

Any recommendations on a shampoo for my pup? Also please let me know where I might find it, store vs online?

She's a beagle mix and is approximately 3/4 mos old. Thanks!

You can use any dog shampoo you wish as they are all the same, you can just choose whichever one you think smells the best.

If your dog doesn't have any particular skin issues which would require a specialized shampoo, I personally like the Kenic brand of shampoos. They are soap and detergent free so they are not at all harsh. They have a variety of formulas from oatmeal to tea tree oil and they all smell great. They also have some spray conditioners to use in between shampoos which keeps the dogs smelling nice. Check you local pet stores as well as feed/grain stores. Or you can order them on-line.

I'm sure there's 100 different answers to your question and you'll probably get them all here. You just need to find the shampoo you like, which does a good job and you are comfortable using on your puppy.

I also use the Kenic brands. My dog has "issues" so we use the Oatmeal shampoo. In between we use the conditioning spray. Works great. I buy them at KV Pet Supply online b/c I haven't been able to find this brand in the stores in my area. I've also heard that Bio-groom is a good brand. One other note, I recommend staying away from those flea shampoos - they don't work and they can damage the skin/coat.
