I KNOW AFTER MY BROTHERS DOG GOES BACK TO HER OWN HOME WITH HER SIBLINGS MY BROTHER WILL TREAT THEM SO I AM GOING TO BE BOMBING AND DOING MASSIVE CLEANING JOB ON MY WHOLE HOUSE. I WAS WONDERING I HAVE 2 BASKETS OF CLEAN LAUNDRY THAT UNFORTUNATELY WERE NOT IMMEDIATELY PUT AWAY AND NOW I AM AFRAID TO PUT THEM AWAY, CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME IF FLEAS FESTER IN CLEAN LAUNDRY??? MY HOUSE IS NOT COMPLETELY INFESTED BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS. THANK YOU...

Fleas can be in anything.

(Please don't type in all caps. It is considered "shouting" in online etiquette. Thanks!)

Re: Fleas In My Clean Clothes??

Take them both to a groomer, and get them flea dipped; then pick up frontline topspot for both of them. While they are being groomed, bomb your house, and wash any clothing, bedding, and loose carpets; probably would be quickest to take the washables to a laundromat, so they are 'done' by the time the dogs get home. It is best to get these infestations taken care of before the dogs start having adverse problems from them, like anemia.

If you can muster the 'strength' get them both clipped down short, so that you also get rid of any eggs that may not get killed in the flea bath. The Frontline will work well, but it will take up to a week for it to really get into the dog's system adequately enough to start killing\preventing reinfestation.
