I've got 3 Shih Tzu dogs. 2 Female and 1 Male. I would like to try cutting their hair short for the winter so they don't get the ice balls on their bellies and drip all over my hardwood floors. Is there an easy way to do this myself?
I hand cut Riley. He's very good about just standing for me which helps. The first week he sometimes looks a bit choppy but it starts looking good pretty quick. I've never had any luck with the clipper attachments on his body but I do use the clippers around his eyes. The more you do it the better you get at it. I do use round ended shears for safety.
