Re: Another brush question

I wouldn't, dog brushes are for dogs and human brushes are for humans. Thats how I see it. I would use a pin brush and comb from the pet store. Shih tzu's and Pekingese's are very similar as is their hair. I use a pin brush and comb on Snoopy's hair and it keeps it looking great and pulls out the loose hair. Plus there are things I will share with my dog but my comb isn't one of them, I mean they roll around in dirt and do all other yucky things.

But I use a pin brush for my own hair.... I don't see any difference between human ones and dog ones....

....and my doggy doesn't ever roll around in dirt or do anything yucky she spends all her time laying around on my bed....

Personally I wouldn't use my own hairbrush on my dog. As someone already said your dog could have rolled around in the dirt, do you really want that in your hairbrush? If you're looking for something that's durable but inexpensive I would go to entirelypets.com They have an awsome collection and really great prices. I found a great dog brush for a good deal check out this page http://www.entirelypets.com/bagrpr.html for what else they have (since I'm not sure if you're just looking to comb you dog's hair or help with getting extra hair out). If you're looking on how to groom your pet they also have a really useful article that might help. Hope this help ya!

ummm, hehe, I already said my dog doesn't roll in the dirt She doesn't get dirty. She lays on my bed or on the couch and thats it. I also happen to use the same kind of hairbrush that my dog needs. Sooooo.... is there any OTHER reason why it wouldn't be a good idea?

Re: Another brush question

Well when the dog goes potty it sometimes steps in it, all dogs eventually do, and then the dog scratches it self, so pee gets on their coat which gets brushed with your comb then in the morning you use the same comb to brush your hair. Nothing like having your hair smell like urine first thing in the morning.

Re: Another brush question

Lol, no problem! It's just like when my dog will start licking himself down there and you can hear him sucking and licking real hard and then he will look at you and want up and when you pick him up he will try to lick your ear or face! lol It's almost as gross when I am holding him with him on his back and I got my face close to him and I have my mouth slightly open and he sneezes right in my face!

I would just got a brush like this, it was less than $10 and it works wonders!
