What brush to use

I have a 10 week old miniature Daschund and I was wondering what kind of brush to use? I was also wondering what to start brushing her? I want to get her used to being brushed.

Thank you

Re: What brush to use

Start immediately! As for the brush type, that depends. Is she short, or long haired?
Didn't your breeder send you home with grooming, feeding, etc., information?

Re: What brush to use

I mainly use my metal comb and my pin brush. The pin brush is coated at the tips so it's not soo intrusive.

Re: What brush to use

For my longhaired dachshund I just use a "Greyhound" comb. It's called a greyhound comb because that's the big company that first made them. You can purchase any similar type comb at your local petstore and it will do just fine. My Doxie dosn't have alot of coat so the comb is suffiecient. If you do decide to get a pin brush as well make sure it's nice a soft.
