Heat and vision

I have a polish sheep dog/poodle mix.....he really hates being outside in the heat and sunlight. He typically gets a terrier cut, but was wondering if I should keep his coat a little longer around his face, would the fur protect his eyes a little bit. Does he not like the heat because of his coat or is it the sun is too strong for his eyes?
Thanks

Re: Heat and vision

Is there a reson why he has to be outside, other than needing to go to the bathroom?

No that is for the only purpose the bathroom, its just that it is a pulll to his spot and than almost a run home to get back into the house. Just was thinking maybe the sun is too strong for his eyes.

It's probly more that he wants to be inside with you. My dogs are like that as well, they want to be with me which is usually inside a nice aiconditioned house.

I agree with animalcracker, it doesn't really sound like a heat issue. My dog Dakota is the same way at times, mad dash out then a mad dash back in. I think she just gets excited to be out and about with me

What makes you feel that it is an eye problem?

Does he exhibit other problems with his eyes?
