I was wondering if anyone can help me.The problem is:
My dog gets very excited when she sees a cat.
She gets furious.
It's OK at home, when she's in backyard but when I take awalk with her...Oh boy.I hardly have strength
to control her.My father gave up on walking her for that reason.Now her walks depend on me...
How can I teach her not hate cats!?
I'm no expert, but I think behavior modification is more important than teaching your dog not to hate cats. When the dog sees a cat and begins to pull etc, you have to reprimand her for pulling on the leash. Perhaps a lesson in 'heeling' would help?
