Pee Pad Success & Failure

After reading all about these Pee pads I finally went and bought a package. I take my toy poodle, Tinkerbell, with me to work everyday. She hangs out with me in the back and I allow her to pee on the concrete floor and then i clean it up. I can't take her outside because I'm usually too busy. So this morning i put a pee pad down and 5 minutes later it had been used. I was soo thrilled! then 20 minutes later...she pee on the concrete. I look at this as a sucess and of course as soon as I can catch her using the pad she'll get tons of praise. BTW...anyone notice that these pads are the same thing they use in hospital's to put under patients?

Yes. The ones sold in the pet shops though have an "attractant" added to them so the dog will smell it and use the pad instead of the floor.

Re: Pee Pad Success & Failure

Two of my dogs were potty trained on these type of pads and it was hit and miss. One of my dogs usually tore the pad to shreds but before she did, she managed to do her business on it. My newest pup hits the pad pretty much all the time but he ends up wadding it up in the corner.
Ah, kids.
