Clicker Training

Can anyone give me any good info on links for clicker training? Or recommend any books or websites where I can buy a good book about it?

Thanks!

I cannot take credit for finding these. But opokki posted them in a previous thread and I found them very insightful! So thank opokki for them!

Re: Clicker Training

there is also an excellent book
called
How Dogs Learn

it is an excellent book in combination with the clicker books because it is a fairly easy read and explains some of the theory behind why clicker works and howto think about it.....

I would tell yo uthe author but Meghan ( flat coated retriever) pulled it out of my bookcase one day and chewed it to bits.....

the only book she ever destroyed ..... kind of ironic if you ask me.

Ok, the clicker trainer. The librarys everywhere always have a " dog section", so just ask the librarian or look on the library computer and see if they have anything about the clicker trainer if not tell me. Or you could just go to http://www.askjeeves.com and in the "ask box" type in clicker training or dog training and write down the information and try it with your puppy and if your pupppy is not cooperating well ask me for homeade dogh training. Don't wait too long, "you can't teach an old dog new tricks". I shouldn't hear from you for several days because you need to be patient with your dog and after about a week if nothing has accomplished write back. If something has accomplished then tell me. Sincerally, Amanda
