Problem with mulitple dogs

I have 3 dogs. They all love each other, and will watch out for one another. But, my problem is when I try to do something with one dog. I've been doing training sessions in the front yard with each dog individually. When I get the one dog out front, the other 2 start screaming inside. Also, when 1 dog isn't feeling well/just got shots, etc. when I take the others out, the 1 behind goes ballistic, even if my husband is home with them.

how do I get them to accept being apart without stressing them?

Try giving them Kongs filled with peanut butter and treats frozen. They should keep them busy for a while. You could also have your husband work with them inside the same time.

We've done that. It works with one of the 3, the boys both won't even recognize that the hubby is in the room with them if I'm out with another dog. Little brigit couldn't care less if she has a kong.

I crate them in the back room and go do my thing! lol

It's not that they care about the other dog being gone. It's that they KNOW when I go out with a dog, it's to do something FUN! Like train or walk or swim...
