Ours did this with us. The first command we taught her after 'come' (which we are still working on in distracting situations - she has it down pat in the house!) was 'sit'. She learned that to get anything rewarding - food, attention, her leash for a walk - she had to sit/wait for us calmly. Pretty soon (Within 2 days of first teaching the command/cue) she was beginning to sit down when she -wanted- something, without the cue! She still does it and we think it's adorable but we are careful not to reinforce her just because she flopped down on her tail and is looking at us with the Puppy Face (you all know the one!).
When I got most oldest female, potty training was first on the agenda. Her timing was like clockwork. She would take a drink from her bowl and within a few minutes she would have to go. I used this to my advantage.

I would take her out to the front lawn and wait until she was getting into the tinkle position. I would say go "P". She would, I then gave her a treat and praised her. In half of a day she had this down pat. She would go the front door, paw it, I would follow her out, say go "P", she did and got her rewards.

The second day we had just completed this routine and went inside. Two minutes later she was pawing the door. I was thinking she just went. But not to have a set back in her potty trainig I took her out. Without command she went into the potty position. I looked and did not see one drop come out. After a few seconds she came up to me expecting a treat. I knew right then and there I had a clever one on my hands.

It is amazing how quick witted our canine pals are.

Re: He just won't listen.

Thank you
Yea I have thought about doing the classes for solization for my puppy.
Right now he just gets solization from seeing and meeting people/animals on walks(but we live in the country so not to much of that) inviting people over to the house. And every week I take him to PetsMart and usually walk around and talk to people for about 45-60 minutes, I do that to get him to be around different people and dogs.
Yea I have trained him the sit for foos, walks, etc. And before I feed him I use to have to hold his chest and say "wait", but now I just say "wait" once I put the food in the bowl and he waits then I tell him to "sit". He doesn't just go over to the door and sit for a walk, thats a good idea, I will try to get something done like that.
