I haven't been teaching Noel any commands lately, because I couldn't think of any. I might steal some from your list, lol!(: |

| Re: What Tricks? Sit
down
crawl
speak (this is really cute because it's a hand signal only, so I can tell her to say anything I want. Like if someone compliments her, I say "Say thank you, Kit", and give the signal!)
shush
roll over
bang (play dead)
stay
come
spin
nips (spin backwards)
peekaboo (thru my legs from behind)
hup (over a bar or thru a hula hoop)
shake (left)

snuggle

bed time
drop
leave it
take it
weave (thru my legs)
go get (object)
She also knows the words dinner, breakfast, water, ball, Frisbee and bath.
We've been working on "give", but I hadn't thought to give it a different name than "drop". Thanks Squeeker! |

Apart from the basic commands, I've taught Blizzard so few tricks that I'd be embarassed to mention it here |

Wanted to add "go potty" to the list. How could I forget the most important one? |

| Re: What Tricks? Brutus knows:
Grub (go to food bowl)
Crate (go in crate to look for food bowl)
Eat
Cruise (jump on counter)
Trash (tip the trash can)
Fart (self-explanatory)
Howl (for when he's in the crate)
Trail (for when he finds the scent of a trash can in the naborhood)
Pull (for when we're walking)
Poop (always executed at the wrong time)
Ignore (for when I yell at him for anything else)
I figured I'd just put his normal behaviors on cue so I could feel good about myself. |

| Re: What Tricks? Nice. Noel also knows
"Squirrel Chase".
That is where she chases a squirrel until it runs up a tree or something.
I do not command her to do that.
Lol. |

| Re: What Tricks? LOL, that was a good laugh, Hulk. In that case, Kit knows
Grass (eat it)
Wild animal (convince friends that I don't exercise my dog)
Push (knock over small child and steal donut)
Squirrel (chase)
Orbit (run in circles at top speed) Quote:

Then you just fade the frequency at which you give the cue. I dunno if it works - sounds pretty suspect to me. Anybody ever have success with this? |

| We work on a little something every night or so. Instead of just feeding Libby her dinner, we use it as training rewards. It has worked great! Gives us some bonding and training time, gives her some mental stimulation, and also helps her tummy because she gobbles her food so friggin' fast otherwise! |
