| Re: Fly Ball Get a complete vet check with emphasis on the soundness of the front legs/shoulders as Flyball is quite hard on those joints.
The instructors will show you how to build drive and speed. The one thing that is a huge no-no is dogs that are so possessive of the ball they will attack the dog running in the next lane.....they are not likely candidates for the sport.
If you make the team, be prepared to travel on weekends to the events. Hotel, meals, gas, etc. can add up.
This is loud and fast but, alot of fun! |
