clips of novice work

Ok, I will tell you in advance that the quality of these is not great. They are grainy. Also on the first one, please ignore my instructor's lecture to the person who went before me.

We made several mistakes, I was using a lot more food tonight, she was MOTIVATED for it, can you tell?? LOL

Anyway, here they are such as they are....

And here I thought show dog handlers were just naturals with a dog. Obviously there is a lot of hard work done beforehand by both handler and dog. Thank you for sharing those, it was nice to see the work involved...and it paying off.

Oh CP, I am sort of a natural when it comes to basic training, but as for the show ring, both breed and obedience, I have worked VERY HARD on my handling skills and body language.

Probably always will.

This much is obvious. I'm equally amazed by your instructor being able to pick up subtle things like your shoulder placement...that's a sign of a good instructor in my mind.
