| fighting papillions
I am the owner of a four year old pap named Louie and a six month old pap named Milo. Milo and Louie are best friends and got along really well immediately. I went out of town this past weekend. Now that I am back they have begun fighting. It happens when we are all in bed (yes we sleep together). Milo initiates usually. Starts with growling, showing of teeth and very quickly escalates to a full on fight that I am afraid to separate at risk of getting bit. Once I push them off the bed they immediately stop and go about their business as usual like best friends again. I don't know if Milo is starting to try to assert his dominance or if this is his personality starting to come through or if this is about who gets to be closer to me or if it's just play. Help? |
